Description: Residential Garden Design / Historic Restoration. The Conovers were very involved during the design process. The finished product would, in every aspect, reflect the site and landscape of the Mansion as it appeared in the early 1900’s. Working with concepts drawn by Landscape Architect Matthew Fair Jones, a revised master plan was created. Photos of the property from that period were studied in depth to recreate the site layout along with plant species and placement. Work included: Revised master plan of entire property; design development of drives, parking, walks, patios, arbor, lawn, pond, trees, hedges and planting beds; construction documents and administration. The Conovers should be commended for their passion of restoration to the site and the architecture of the house therein. The community of Spencer will forever be rewarded for their dedication. |
